Natalie Portman and John Krasinski make the man’s day while filming in Liverpool

It was a man’s day when he spotted Natalie Portman and John Krasinski filming their big-budget new movie in Liverpool.

Nathan Schofield was heading home from Crewe after a day out training. The 26-year-old support worker saw that filming was underway for a project at St George’s Hall as he walked into the station on his way back to Bebington.

He told the ECHO: “I was walking home and I was stopped by a security guard outside a big Warner Bros truck. I asked him why I couldn’t pass and he said he was shooting an action scene for a movie. .

“So I only stayed because I always liked movies and wanted to be an actor when I was younger.” However, Nathan was amazed when filming began and saw that two Hollywood stars were involved.

In the clip, Natalie and John can be seen racing in a vintage convertible sports car. Nathan added: “I don’t know if I should have said anything because they were very close.

“Natalie Portman seemed a little awkward and I felt a little awkward not realizing how close they were going to get. I gave John a little wave and he waved back and my mum was fine with that because she loves The Office.”

He added: “I waited about 20 minutes. They did two takes and they were there for about 25 minutes. They said the end of the scene and then everyone left at once.”
