Gary Barlow stops Take That’s Utilita Arena Birmingham show and quips “whose idea was that?”

Take That frontman Gary Barlow quipped “whose idea was that?” as the band took the Utilita Arena stage Tuesday night. Take That – made up of Gary, Mark Owen and Howard Donald – began a six-night run at the Birmingham venue as part of their This Life On Tour.

And the trio were in top form when they took to the Utilita Arena stage on opening night on Tuesday, May 14. The band entered the stage through a fake TV screen with Keep Your Head Up, before launching into Windows and Giants.

The stage set-up featured two huge staircases which Take That ran up and down several times during Days I Hate Myself from their latest album.
